Will my cordless
phone or other wireless devices such as my Baby Monitor or wireless
Headphones, interfere with the wireless connection?
It is possible that your cordless
phone could interfere with the wireless connection. Any device that
uses the same frequency band (900Mhz range) such as a 900Mhz analogue
or digital cordless phone may interfere. This could also include
Baby Monitors which are sometimes in the 900 Mhz range as well as
wireless Headphones. Analogue phones in the 900 Meg 2.4 and 5.8
Gigahertz (GHz) range are particularly prone to interfering. Other
sources of radio frequency interference could include your microwave,
wireless headphones or other household wireless network devices
such as video baby monitors. The further the equipment is from the
RECN modem, the less likely they are to interfere and any device
such as those previously listed, should be tested near the modem
to ensure it does not interfere.

What is meant
by Bandwidth?
Bandwidth describes the amount of data a
network can transport in a certain period of time. In other words,
bandwidth is a capacity (uplink / downlink) for rate of transfer,
usually expressed in bits per second, from our system to your computer.
The actual speed and capacity of traffic to another site varies
depending on the amount of traffic or congestion on the Internet
(at large) and other factors also.
